Following a large group of people over a long time is a terrific way to learn more about life in Australia.

The Growing Up in Australia: Longitudinal Study of Australian Children (LSAC) has been going since 2004, following the lives of thousands of children into adulthood and gathering data from parents, teachers, carers and the children themselves.

The latest LSAC Annual Statistical Report provides a window into how the lives of Australian teenagers are changing.
