Dashboard camera captures near miss as driver allegedly falls asleep on SA highway
A driver who allegedly fell asleep at the wheel and nearly caused a high-speed, three-car smash near Barmera in South Australia's Riverland has been reported by police after being caught on video.(WARNING: The video contains strong language.)
A dashboard camera in an approaching vehicle captured the moment the 41-year-old-man's car crossed double white lines on the Sturt Highway and into the path of two oncoming cars.
The two cars were forced to swerve off the road, with one ending up on its side.
