Get Two Animals to Start Liking Each Other

From Tips and Steps

{{#switch: |User talk = Thanks for starting an article on wikiHow! I just wanted to let you know that it's been categorized as a stub, meaning that it's a good outline (and we're glad you started it!), but still has some room to grow. We want to be sure that the article has enough step-by-step details in it so that a person reading it can accomplish this task from start to finish.

Do you have any more information you can add? You can also get details from other sites, as long as you put them in your own words and reference them. Either way, it's off to a good start. It'll be great to see how it develops! If there is anything I can do to help you expand the article or get around on wikiHow, please let me know!|Discussion = This template should be applied to the article itself, not its discussion page.|Image = {{#if:|{{|2=|date=2008-08-24}}|

We all know that certain types of animals just don't get along with one another. Read this if your cat hates your dog or if your elephant is afraid of your mice.

Steps

  1. Be sure they are the same age, size, and have the same personality. Animals do have personalities like people. For instance, a timid animal would really not want to be bothered by a psycho puppy or cat. The same goes for size and age. Older animals don't want to worry about younger animals the same as a big dog might crush a smaller one.
  2. Let them grow up together. if they are still babies, and they are in contact 24/7, they will eventually get attached and will hang out later in their lives.
  3. Let them play together. Make sure they share toys and don't chew on furniture.
  4. Treat them both the same. They can get jealous and eventually start not liking you.
  5. Don't let them hurt each other. If they chase each other and it looks like they are fighting, this is usual because they're just testing each other, most people believe.

Things You'll Need

  • 2 animals that don't like each other.
  • Chew toys, etc.
