Get your pets fixed. There are so many unwanted pets out there that it can bring a tear to your eye.

If you do get a pet, make sure you remember that every day you give it food and water. Think about how it would be like to go without food or water for a day. It wouldn't be fun, would it?
Also you need to make sure you give your pet enough room to run or swim around. For ex. you wouldn't put a big fish in a little bowl, or a dog in barely enough space to sleep at night. If so you're definitely not the right owner for that pet, just as much as you would be for any living thing. Also, make sure to give your pet lots of exercise so that it stays in shape. If it gets fat it won't live as long as it should.
Keep your pet's hygiene up. Also to keep up on important shots, like for rabies. It will keep your pet healthy!
