Spoil Your Dog

From Tips and Steps

Do you love your dog? Do you have spare money in your pocket, or some extra love in your heart? Well now you can put it to use with some top ways to spoil your dog!

Steps

  1. Buy them toys and play with them! Playing with your dog is a great way to develop a bond and your dog will be happy.
  2. Feed them good food, the more nutritious, the better. Many dog food brands have flavoring, find out which flavor your dog prefers and feed them it on a consistent basis.
  3. Walk them when they are high on energy. They may like this and will become familiar with the leash. Remember to get them a leash that fits snugly.
  4. Praise them regularly. This relieves any tension they may have and they may want to play.
  5. Buy clothing ONLY if they are comfortable with it. This can include sweaters or other designer clothing made for dogs. Dog beds are also comfortable for dogs and they will enjoy it.

Tips

  • Be sure you can take care of a dog's necessities or else it is not an appropriate pet for you.
  • Don't be too harsh on your dog. If you must reprimand them, only use a firm "No".
  • You must have a caring and loving mind to care, let alone spoil a dog.

Warnings

  • Check that you are not allergic to your dog of choice.
  • Don't feed them food that is unsafe for their digestive system, even if they think that they want the food. This includes chocolate and most candies.
  • Remember to train your dog to control their bladder and where to relieve it.
  • Do not deprive them of outside sunshine when they desire it.
  • Remember, "spoiling" your dog(s) may make them think that they rule the house. Always be sure to take care of their necessities, but if you really want to spoil your dog(s), be aware that they may start barking, nipping, or biting at others, and sometimes you, if they are in their territory (house, apartment, dorm etc...)
