Spending time in a messy and disorganized environment can put pressure and stress on the mind. Here's how to avoid this problem.
Tidy any clutter. Throw rubbish away. Hoover, dust, polish! You need to be neat! If you don't have enough space for everything, try moving things which you don't use a lot into other rooms.
Move things around. Think about the next few steps, and where you're going to put things. Where would you like to sleep?
The lower, the better. Sleep on a mattress on the floor!
For seating, purchase or find some large cushions to sit on. Put them on the floor.
Find large pieces of material and drape them over things. Think long and flowing. Use it as curtains!
For light sources, lava lamps are brilliant. Remember, you want a dim but coloured light. If you want to read, then you can switch the main light on. Fairy lights look great. You could use candles, but whilst being effective, these are also dangerous.
