From Tips and Steps
Removing yourself from myspace.com is actually an easy process.
Steps
1st Method
- Log into MySpace
- Click on Account Settings next to your main display picture (a page will be displayed that says Change Account Settings at the top)
- Now, simply click Cancel Account under these words - NOTE: Changing your default email or name can make it hard for your friends to find or recognize you on MySpace
- When you click the Cancel Account button you will get an email that requires your confirmation to delete
- Enjoy no more MySpace :)
2nd Method
- Log into MySpace
- Click on "My Account" on the top right, next to "Sign Out."
- Click on "Account," which is one of the categories under "My Account."
- Scroll Down, and click on "Account Cancellation."
- MySpace will ask to confirm cancellation a couple times before sending you an email. Follow the directions in the email to completely cancel your account.
3rd Method
There has been a lot of people who can't cancel their MySpace using the steps above. Or maybe it's because you/they forgot your/their email address? Here are the steps to do so:
- Delete everything off the MySpace account
- Put On Your Headline "Remove Profile" or something like that.
- Delete all of your friends.
- You could call Myspace or email them a salute. Make sure you show your face and the paper! It does work!
Tips
- When you email myspace about any concern, they may not answer right away or at certain days.
- Some emails that you may use may not work with myspace. In other words, you may not recieve emails from myspace to cancel your account or to verify your account. You could change your email to Google Mail or AOL because they usually get myspace's emails right away.
Warnings
- When you delete your account, it is gone forever.
- Only do this if you are completely sure you don't want a MySpace account any longer
- All information in your account will be deleted and you wont be able to recover it.
Things You'll Need
- MySpace account
- Internet Access
- Your Myspace login details
